August Playgroup Schedule

-Last month it will be on Wednesday-

6- Come and enjoy a story in the great outdoors. Forest Park Nature Center (5809 Forest Park Drive)– Summer Story Time 10:30-11:15. Those that would like to meet at 10 can come and go for a short hike before story time.

13- Safety Town @ 10 (6518 N Sheridan Rd, Peoria)

20- Horton Hears a Who at Willow Knolls 14 Theatre @ 10:30, $1 per seat

27- Sommer Park Subd. @ 10, bring a picnic for the kids and come to play!

From 150 going towards and passing Grand Prairie, Left on Koerner, Right at Summer Place Subdivision, follow through neighborhood to dead end. Left at dead end and that will take you to the park

REVISED: JULY SCHEDULE

As you all know...I rarely can put a schedule out that I don't have to revise. So here it is!
2- Strawberry picking at Schaer’s Country Market. 1118 Spring Bay Rd. East Peoria, IL meet at 10. The season is almost done and it is time for “open picking” There may not be tons of strawberries but we can still have fun!
9- Time for service! Come help clean and organize toys in the nursery while the kids play. 10am @ church.
16- NO PLAYGROUP DUE TO COOKING GROUP
17- This is unofficial but my kids ask every day when we get to go to the water playgroup I told them about. So, I am planning on going to the park and doing what we had scheduled for the 16th, on the 17th. I hope some of you will join me. Water fun at the park. Come armed with a water gun or water balloons for some fun play. Don’t forget your towel and a change of clothes so you can still play on the playground after. Detweiller Pine Shelter at 10.
22- IT IS A TUESDAY! Monical’s Pizza Tour at 10am. 4408 N. Knoxville Road (on Knoxville and Lake) The kids will be touring the shop and seeing how they make the pizza’s.
FYI -23-The Pirates, Veggie Tales movie at Rave Theatre 10am, admission free….have to get there early!
30- Charlotte’s Web at Rave Theatre, 10 am, admission free…get there early to get in!
