July
1 – Grand View Drive/Park @ 10am (3210 Grand View Drive) – Fourth of July Pom-Pom making. Bring a stapler and scissors.
8 – Forest Park Nature Center @ 10am (5809 N Forest Park Drive, Peoria Heights) We will be hiking on a trail.
15 - Safety Town @ 10 (6518 N Sheridan Rd, Peoria) – Bring your bikes/ride-on toys.
22 – Lakeview Museum of Arts & Science - Discover Center @10 (Adults $6.00 & Youth 3-17 $4.00)
29 – Riverfront Walk - Lets walk around the Riverfront. Meet at 10 by The Spirit of Peoria.

Some of the favorites I did were the fire station tour. That would be fun to do before some of the kids go back to school. If you do it, assign some mom's to bring cookies to leave for the fire fighters. I have heard you can do a jail tour too. I had a lot show up for a pizza tour where we got to see the kitchen and the ovens and how they made the pizza's. Takes a little planning but it isn't nearly as hard as you think.
