Playgroup with be at Melissa Schroeder's house. If it is nice we will walk on the Rock Island Trail so bring your strollers and meet at my house. If it is soggy and wet we will just play in my basement.

Franciscan Recreation Complex - Motor Mites Open Gym

This open gym for ages 1-5 is a great way to let little ones with lots of energy enjoy the fun of playing freely with scooters, balls, hula hoops, tumbling equipment, and more. It’s a great way for children and parents to socialize. Parents must attend.

M-W-F: 9:15-11:15 am
plus Fridays! 1:00-3:00 pm
$2 per visit or $20 for a 12-visit pass

I have a sick child so I will not be able to attend but I hope everyone has fun!!

Playgroup today

It is just a little too soggy for me today so I'll be at my house - for those who want to come by for playgroup. I'm sure those of you who don't mind the soggyness (not sure that is a word) would love Tanners! So have fun today either way!

October Playgroup Schedule

2 - Tanner’s Orchard at 10am. (if raining – then meet at Melissa Schroeder’s house for playgroup)


9 - Rock Island Trail meet at 10 am at the main parking area off Alta Ln.

16 - Preschool Splash at River Plex 10:00-11:30. Parents must accompany child in the water. Ages 1-5, $3 per child, adults free.


23 – TBA - Possibly playing at Rainbow Play Systems but will need to check as the date gets closer.

30 - Halloween Party at church at 10. Come in your costumes and bring a festive treat to share. We’ll do an easy Halloween craft for the kids

Also starting in November I was thinking about trying to do a playgroup once a week at someone's house PLUS Fridays. The idea would be Tuesdays at someones house and Friday's would be somewhere else (such as the River Plex, the Church, Motor Mites). What do you think? If you would like to give it a try please e-mail me in the next couple of weeks.

Lindsey Williams has offered to open the church for people who wish to go. If you want to get out of the house and let your kids run around she will be there at 10am.
